How LostPet.com works

1. Pre-register your pet. Add a photo, breed, colors, zip, and chip or tattoo ID while they are safe at home.
2. If they go missing, open Find Your Lost Pet, search found listings, then report yours as lost so finders can match you.
3. If you find a pet, open I Found a Pet. Search by zip first. If there is no owner match, list the pet and we keep your contact for the owner.
4. We notify you when your account or pet record changes, and you can reach us from any email we send.

There is no fee to register or to search. LostPet tags are coming later; chip and tattoo IDs work today.
