Data sources

LostPet.com directory pages are built from public and licensed business listings. We show the name, address, phone, hours and website. We do not invent an email or a review.

• SpectrumCare (spectrumcare.pet) supplies the veterinary clinic list. The owner of LostPet.com approved publishing these pages on October 8, 2026. Every vet page credits SpectrumCare.
• animalshelter.org and the APA Humane Locator contributed shelter names. A shelter can ask us to correct or remove its listing.
• © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL. Pages that include OpenStreetMap rows show that credit. The raw directory files are not offered as a public download.
• Overture Maps Foundation, CDLA-Permissive-2.0, including contributions from Meta, Microsoft, Foursquare and BrightQuery. Used mainly on PetTrader.com service and supply listings.
• FMCSA motor-carrier census and USDA APHIS public records, used for transport listings on PetTrader.com. That is not an agency endorsement.
• GeoNames ZIP data, CC BY 4.0. Normalized by LostPet.com.

Boarding listings on PetTrader.com are held out of individual business pages until their source is confirmed. A wrong listing can be reported on the contact page.
