Do I have to pre-register before my pet is lost?

No, but it helps. A photo and chip ID on file make a finder match much faster.

I found a dog or cat. What should I do first?

If the pet is hurt, call a vet, animal control, or a local shelter. Then search I Found a Pet by zip. List the pet only if you do not find the owner.

Will you email me?

We email to verify a new account and when you add, edit, or delete a pet or change your profile. Every mail has a link to manage email preferences.
